"When no one else would help, the National Justice Project took our case."

ALL DONATIONS MATCHED BY OUR GENEROUS SUPPORTERS UNTIL MIDNIGHT SATURDAY 10 DECEMBER

When our clients needed help, they were ignored, pushed away, even lied to.

They had suffered brutality, indifference, and negligence.

But politicians didn’t want to hear about them, the authorities wanted to hide what happened, and the media didn’t care.

When they came to us, we helped them find answers, we helped them get accountability – and you can too.

Please, donate this festive season to help our clients carry on their fight for truth and justice.

By helping them win, you can secure real change.

To celebrate Human Rights Day on Saturday 10 December, some of our generous supporters are matching all donations $1 for $1 until midnight Saturday.

These are just three stories of the 140 cases we are running for people who have suffered from systemic discrimination.

Fighting for #Justice4Dougie

“No one wanted to speak with us, and no one wanted to listen. Not the hospital, not the media, and not the government. When no one else would help, the NJP took on our case.” – Rick Hampson Snr.

Your tax-deductible donation will help us demand:

  • Culturally-safe healthcare for First Nations patients
  • The implementation of sweeping reforms in NSW regional healthcare

Securing accountability for refugees like Rashid*

Illustration of refugee family

"My kids needed medical & mental health care, so some friends put us in contact with The National Justice Project. I can strongly say that our only hope at that time was the National Justice Project.  " - Rashid*.

Your tax-deductible donation will help us fight for:

  • A precedent that allows refugees to seek accountability
  • A legal duty of care of the government owed to refugees
  • A more humane system for processing people seeking asylum

Standing with the family of Baby Charlie Mullaley

“At every step of the way the NJP has been at our side. Without the NJP’s commitment to secure justice for our Charlie Boy, there would not have been the history-making apology or pardons.” - Kathleen Pinkerton

Your tax-deductible donation will help us call for:

  • Action to stop the epidemic of violence against Indigenous women and children
  • Accountability for systemic police discrimination against First Nations people

I find the words of Mr George Newhouse pertaining to Jewish relationships with First Nations peoples, very thought provoking and some powerful emotions evoked. Also, his writings on our High Court appointments, please keep the writings coming, these are not topics we encounter every day
