Power the fight for justice with a monthly donation
Like you, we want to help create a world where everyone lives free from systemic discrimination and enjoys equal access to justice.
That’s why, alongside our clients, we use strategic legal action to hold governments to account for discrimination and human rights violations – which creates ripples of positive change and stops injustices from happening again.
Your monthly donation to the National Justice Project will enable us to keep representing our clients in strategic legal cases, showing up in court and driving national advocacy campaigns. Become a monthly donor today!
We’re 100% people powered
We don’t accept any funding from governments – instead, we hold them to account. That’s why the support of right-minded people like you is vital to ensure our independence.
How we fight discrimination alongside our clients
Justice for asylum seekers and refugees
We’ve successfully taken the Australian Government to court over 50 times in the last five years for its mistreatment of refugees and asylum seekers in offshore detention. But there are still cases on our books and people in limbo. Your support will help fund ongoing and future cases.
Health justice: Disability and First Nations health
We fight to secure legal and policy reforms that ensure equitable access to quality, dignified and culturally-safe healthcare in our health and prison systems. Sadly, many families continue to need our assistance to obtain and go through Coronial inquests.
Police, prisons and youth detention
We represent people who've been discriminated against, harmed or killed by police, or in the prison and youth detention systems. First Nations People are still hugely over-incarcerated – we seek accountability, justice and reforms to help put an end to this systemic racism and violence.
