Help us Finish the Fight for refugee families
"You were the first people who have been good for us. This has been a long journey to justice and the National Justice Project helped fight for my family," Refugee father after Federal Court settlements for children in poor health from offshore detention.
We've been fighting fearlessly for more than six years to hold the Australian Government to account for the appalling level of medical care provided to dozens of asylum seeker families detained on Nauru.
From our recent test cases, the National Justice Project helped secure justice for two refugee families but the fight is far from over. We still have 40 more cases before the Federal Court.
We need your help.
This December your gift can help us Finish the Fight as we continue to support other refugee families who rely on us to fight for their human rights.
Please support our 10 Days to Donate in December in the lead up to International Human Rights Day on 10 December.
Together we can create change.
$25 contributes to our intake team providing culturally safe and trauma informed care to support our clients as they share their story
$50 goes towards our advocacy efforts to fight for a more humane system for processing people seeking asylum
$100 supports one legal professional's travel to represent our brave clients at mediation, seeking compensation for the harms they have suffered because of the Australian government detaining them on Nauru
$250 supports our legal team on the frontline to fight systemic discrimination to secure justice for our courageous clients
We're 100% people powered.
A huge thank you to these recent donors...

I'm saddened that Australian governments, supposedly acting on behalf of citizens, have been and continue to be so harsh on refugees. I wish for a more humane and compassionate system. Thank you Richard Wilkins for matching gifts.

Keep up the great advocacy work for refugee families. If ever this fight is won, there are a lot of Human Rights abuses happening right now in NSW affecting accused and incarcerated people - especially men. The NSW Government have changed so many laws to make it easier and easier to lock up and keep locked up good men as well as reducing the powers of judges and magistrates to hold Government to account.

Detractors need to keep a proportionate perspective. Most if not all Refugees are humans trying to save their children or families from torture. Why move from a safe community? Because you are not safe.
