WE HAVE TO STAND UP.

When police abuse their powers, we have to stand up.

When police use excessive force, someone dies in custody, or a person in crisis is harmed during a police response, families can be left searching for answers.

At the National Justice Project, we stand alongside families to challenge what happened, expose dangerous practices and push for change.

Your donation can support families to get answers and push for safer ways to protect people.

Because when police power causes harm, we need to speak up.

Why we need your help

To challenge police power through our legal work

Everyone should be able to trust police to use their powers safely and lawfully. Your donation helps families challenge discrimination, unfair treatment and police misconduct.

To stop the use of the dangerous prone hold

Since the prone hold was banned in WA, no one has died from it in the state. But it is still used elsewhere. Your donation helps us challenge dangerous police practices and push for change.
To expose racism in policing

Racism in policing causes serious harm to communities. Your donation helps expose discriminatory practices and challenge racism built into the system.

To demand police accountability and transparency

Police should never investigate their own officers or decide whether they should be prosecuted. Your donation helps us push for independent, transparent processes.
